He was so excited!

 

He wanted to sleep in these last night. 

No more playing on the sidelines and watching big brother.

 

It was finally HIS turn!

He’s still giddy about his first session of soccer.  I, however, feel a little bittersweet about the whole thing.  I’m just not ready to have BOTH my babies out on the field!

House Tour Stuff: The Living Room

I’ve been adding a few things here and there to the living room this last week, and I think I am finally at a place where I like it enough to quit messing with it.

 

The only new additions are the rug and ottoman.

The story on the rug is, well, I got it from an estate sale. 

Are you grossed out? 

Normally I would be, I don’t like to do upholstered stuff, or rugs, etc, second hand.

But I made an exception this time because the house it came from was luxurious, wicked clean, and nothing in the house looked used at all.  So I made an exception and brought home this rug, at a crazy low price, of course.

However, this rug is a weird shape (Blobbish, as I like to call him) and much darker than would prefer for this room.  So I don’t know if he will stay here, get relocated to Jaggy’s room, or maybe the basement.  But for now he is comfy under my toes.
